MIND - WORLDS

June 09 - July 28 , 2017

Reality around us seeps into the mind's eye and takes on a world of its own. Images and incidents conjure fantasies and new worlds in our imagination. These little universes step out from the shadows of the mind to depict interpretations of experiences, perceptions of situations and visions of memory.
In this exhibition, mind-worlds of twelve artists are presented in the form of paintings and sculptures. Extracted from memory and images, self-portraits and macro-depictions from everyday objects, stand alongside imagined worlds and secret metaphors, through which the viewers meander. Past experiences and memories further interact and retreat with association in their minds, to imprint future fantasies and mind-worlds.
